Bab Al Shams Desert Safari Dubai kicks off nice and smooth, with an SUV picking you up right from your door, so there's nothing to worry about getting there, you just relax and enjoy the ride out. Once you're at the Lahbab Desert, things really get going, with some proper dune bashing that'll get your heart racing. After that, there's sandboarding down the dunes for anyone chasing a bit more of a rush, along with plenty of time for photos, and the falcon photo opportunity always ends up being a fun little highlight. From there, you head over to Bab Al Shams, a beautiful Arabian style resort set right in the desert, where the evening takes on a completely different feel. You're welcomed with Arabic coffee and dates, and there's henna painting too if you fancy a little souvenir to remember it by. As the sun sets, you get one of those views that's genuinely hard to describe, the desert glowing gold all around. Once it's dark, things turn into something special, with a five star buffet dinner, live cooking stations, and a proper spread for everyone, before the night wraps up with a belly dance show, a Tanoura performance, and a fire show to send you off in style.
Facilities wise, everything's been thought through with a good bit of care. There's a prayer room tucked away for anyone needing a quiet moment, plus a grocery shop and souvenir shop in case you fancy grabbing a snack or picking up a small memento to take home. A photographer moves around to catch the best bits of the evening, and there's a sand art shop too, which is a nice little extra touch. Toilets are kept clean, and wheelchair access makes it easy for everyone to get around comfortably. There's a bar counter on offer as well, along with sheesha served right at your table if you're after something relaxing. Parking is free and public, so arriving in your own car is no hassle at all, and a first aid point is on site too, just so everything feels properly covered from start to finish.
